Thugshop x FOMOHOMO Presents – XOXO feat. CORMAC
Dance the night away with Cormac, whose reputation as a revered selector has rapidly spread, no longer keeping him as one of dance music’s best-kept secrets! He’s back to set the MDLR dance floor grooving, as this Queer Northern Ireland-born DJ now soundtracks dancefloors worldwide with his unique take on HI-NRG, House, and Techno.
Cormac was a listener and dancefloor staple at zeitgeist defining London institutions such as Trade, Nag Nag Nag, and Bugged Out! He’s currently resident at Dicks in Ankali, Prague and is working on an event ‘Aqueerius’ with the same crew. As well as appearances at key events like Sonar Festival, PollarWeisen, Circoloco, WHOLE Festival, Homobloc, Adonis, isburning, Shmutz, Mustang, and many more.
In Berlin and Europe, he’s best known for his legendary closing performances at Panorama Bar and Snax. Sometimes running up to eleven hours in length, and with free reign to play across the board sonically, Cormac has fast become a staple on the line-ups for the club. As the light pours in on Monday mornings, the crowd are kept moving with a selection of his extensive 20 years of DJ knowledge.
In 2021 he founded his own imprint Polari Records. Polari is named in reference to the secret old-school gay slang once used in Europe. The label showcases new and established producers with each release featuring collectible artwork from LGBTQ+ artists.
Cormac’s BBC Radio 1 Essential mix featured exclusive non-released material from Polari and artists Gerd Janson, Kink, Volta, Alan Dixon, and Jordan Nocturne, alongside the debut of his first solo release on Polari, the much loved anthem “Heartcore”. As one half of “Comets”, he released on the revered Berlin label Ostgut-Ton. “Sparks” an homage to Cowley and Bobby O was released in 2022 on Polari Records. 2023 sees a debut on Running Back Records and the release of Leather ’n Lasers on Polari Records.

Cycling @ Changi
Rent a bike or BYOB – we’ll start from GoCycling @ Changi Beach Park C1 and head towards Jurassic Mile via Tanah Merah Coast Road. Expect to cover 30-40km in 3 hours at a leisurely pace. Finish off with an alfresco dinner by the beach at The Seagrill.
Q: What if I’m too fast/slow for the group?
A: The route is fairly easy and straightforward. If there are varying paces, we can split up into groups and cover different distances. The subgroups can adjust the route, as long as we meet back at the starting point by 7pm to return the rental bicycles.
Q: How much is the bike rental?
A: It starts from $10/hour with a free third hour. We’ll be renting for three hours, so expect to pay at least $20.
Q: Can I bring my own bicycle?
A: Of course! We’ll be cycling mostly on the bicycle lane on the road. Please bring a helmet for your safety.
Q: What if it rains?
A: We will meet anyway to hang out! We may meet somewhere more accessible instead of Changi Beach. Follow our IG story for updates.
Q: Can I just join for dinner and not cycle?
A: Yes! Let us know so that we can include you in the dinner reservation.
Q: Can I meet you at Jurassic Mile and join you for the return trip?
A: Let us know and we’ll try to coordinate 🙂

RITUAL 025: Gerd Janson (Running Back / DE)
We know we said Ritual 024 was gonna be the last party of the year… but we simply just couldn’t pass up on this offer to add “Mr. Nice Guy” to our already outstanding list of artists for the year and closing off 2022 PROPER. We’re throwing down the last party on the last Thurs of the year, just before the whole NYE madness kicks in. Let’s be honest, everyone is going to be in a “zero f**ks given” mood anyway, so we figured “Why not!”. If you’re around this year’s end and not traveling, this is where it’s at. 😉 RITUAL 025: Gerd Janson (Running Back / DE) and joining him will be the uber-talented and ever reliable, our island’s very own “Mr.Nice Guy”, local hero Sivanesh (Sivilian Affairs / SG)
Gerd Janson
https://soundcloud.com/nijsserik/gerd-janson-boiler-room-sugar-mountain-2018
https://instagram.com/gerdjansonofficial
Gerd Janson is one of the most highly respected DJs in the world of house and techno. Quite often, “highly respected” goes hand-in-hand with “underrated” but over the past few years, audiences around the world have also found out what insider types already knew: Janson is a DJ that reconfigures the classics you already knew in an unexpected way – and introduce you to new classics, a few months (or years) before you’ll hear them played everywhere else.
This genre-free philosophy has been a theme throughout Janson’s career. House and techno have been an underlying theme, but listening to his DJ sets, you’ll often hear different types of things filtering through: UK funky, synth pop, industrial. It’s a cliché, to be sure, but he’s the type of DJ that digs so that you don’t have to.
In short, Gerd Janson is one of the increasingly worst kept secrets in the world of dance music. A DJ versatile enough to rock just about any dance floor. A DJ who cares about the profession of a DJ. A DJ worth hearing.
Sivanesh

https://www.instagram.com/sivaneshpillai
A regular fixture at some of Asia’s hippest spots, Sivanesh’s sound goes beyond current trends in genres and is held together by equal amounts of rhythm & groove.
Regional attention started coming through after a well-received opening set for The Martinez Brothers in November 2019 during Cercle’s debut show in Asia at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, leading to DJ bookings around South-East Asia and commissions to curate playlists for publications and record labels such as Mixmag Asia and SaturdaySelects.
Together with partner Lilian Hautemulle, he cofounded Sivilian Affairs in 2019, a project that’s focused on intimate parties with an emphasis on collaboration, inclusivity, and having fun.
Currently, the music director for Potato Head and Kilo in Singapore, Sivanesh also holds a monthly radio residency on AAJA Music in London every third Monday of the month.
