In our weekly ‘LIT! Taster Sessions’, we offer a fun, no-pressure introduction to improvisational theatre! Explore the functional principles in spontaneous storytelling, & why they’re just as useful in daily life as they are on stage. We’ll even guide you through a few simple yet popular games to learn how to put these principles into practice!

Duration:
- 2 hours (check your ticket for the exact timings)
Frequency:
- Sessions available once a fortnight
- New sessions are released up to a month in advance
- All sessions are the same Taster lesson plan

- Improv alumni can come for free if they’re accompanying a paying friend!
Prerequisite:
- No prior experience in theatre or storytelling is required to sign up!
- Recommended for ages 14yo and above.
Things to Prepare:
- Please come in comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict your movement.
- Feel free to bring your own writing materials & water bottle.

Endless Return presents PROTO ANIMALIA PROJECT, “JAWIR” EP Release Party
Endless Return’s last party provocation of the year ‘PROTOPESTA’ at ‘The Projector (Cineleisure) on October 12, Saturday celebrates Proto Animalia Project’s first EP “JAWIR” which debuts as our label’s second release.
For this special celebration, Proto Animalia Project will be flying all the way down from Yogyakarta to grace audiences and Endless die-hards with a high-powered performance. We have also invited Singaporean experimental music veteran George Chua to open with a butoh set and orchestrated some exciting movement and sonic pairings with local fan favourites like Yetpet (Strange Weather) and dancer Loy whom some might know better from his DJ moniker Loyboy (5210PM Music). turbo boyfriend (Subplot Systems) will also be performing with the inimitable rosytimah, a long awaited collaboration that we are proud to have as part of the Endless repetoire. After his unforgettable set at Star9azer last October, we had to have ER favourite Sanjonas back again for another round of madness.
Join us for a night of unbridled chaos — where every kinetic and sonic interaction fuels a high voltage circuit of boundless energetic exchange.

The EP “JAWIR” serves as a sonic critique of the stigma that often leads to feelings of inferiority and marginalization, especially among those who move to a big city. By reclaiming and deconstructing the term, Proto Animalia Project aims to raise awareness about the deeper social implications of such stereotypes, challenging listeners to reflect on the impact of language and cultural perceptions on minorities, alienation, stereotyping, and discrimination.
The lead single, “jumawa” will be available on October 4, 2024 across all streaming platforms and the full album release will be fully available on October 11, 2024.
Ultimately, “JAWIR” is not just a musical release but a statement against the reinforcement of negative stereotypes, calling for a more nuanced and respectful understanding of cultural identity.

Proto Animalia Project is a groundbreaking collective that merges sound, visuals, and movement into a unique artistic experience. Led by Mahamboro as X0-101 (The Sonic Alchemist/Music), Byakta Babam as Nudibranchia (The Dreamforge Designer/costume designer and visual aesthetic), and Otniel Tasman as COLEXMAN (The Dance Sorcerer/Dancer), the trio blends electronic music, traditional Javanese sounds, surreal costumes, and contemporary dance. Their performances explore identity, culture, and the unknown, offering audiences a ritualistic journey through time and space, through their own imaginary mind. CARDOPUSHER/SAFETY TRANCE (Barcelona, Spain)
Venezuelan-born Luis Garban, known as Cardopusher, has been a force in the underground electronic scene since the early 2000s. Originally drawn to jungle, IDM, and hardcore, his sound has evolved into a darker fusion of icy wave, industrial, and leftfield reggaeton. Under his Safety Trance alias, Garban pushes boundaries even further, crafting futuristic soundscapes infused with cyberpunk atmospheres and mechanized rhythms. Born on the isolated island of Borneo and now based in Berlin, Wanton Witch is a techno force to be reckoned with. Her raw and unpredictable sets fuse rave, hardcore, and caustic electronics, creating sonic journeys that defy convention. A co-founder of the queer underground collective Non Non Non in Bangkok, her sound is both chaotic and boundary-pushing, reflecting her journey navigating the world as a queer trans woman. With her eponymous debut album on Stroboscopic Artefacts, Wanton Witch quickly gained recognition for her ability to deconstruct and reimagine electronic music, earning praise from Resident Advisor and Mixmag Japan. As a member of Singapore’s Strange Weather collective, YETPET brings an off-kilter, bass-driven blend of percussions atop gnarly womps, stitched together with mutant knots of dancehall, techno, EBM, industrial, and acid. Their unique sonic style deconstructs traditional musical motifs and reconstructs them into something subversive and boundary-breaking. YETPET‘s sets are known for taking the crowd on a journey through deep, dark, and experimental sounds, offering a fresh perspective on electronic music. Whether performing solo or with Strange Weather, YETPET’s distinctive sound is both chaotic and hypnotic, making them a standout in Singapore’s underground scene.

DJ SALIVA (Herrensauna, Arena Spa Porto, Berlin)
DJ Saliva / Mauro is a founding member of Porto-based queer party “Arena Spa Superiora” and an intermedia artist. The Portugal-born,Berlin-based Herrensauna resident keeps things naughty with a hedonisticpsychedelia. Whether in their sets or productions, Saliva‘s sound brings a slip-pery and slithery atmosphere aiming for a hybrid fusion of old school & hi-technew school sounds, from up-tempo electro & big breaks to trippy, sonic technoand unexpected tribal materials.A multi-faceted artist, Mauro is also a sculptor, painter, performer and a visualdeveloper who curates the visual identity and artworks for Herrensauna, managing their own music label.
ANITA B QUEEN (SWERV, ARGENTINA)
Ana Belen Kim, better known as Anita B Queen, is an Argentine artist of South Korean descent who has become a prominent figure in the vibrant Buenos Aires music scene. Beginning her DJ journey in 2018 after years of organizing electronic music events, she expanded her repertoire by joining the artistic collective SWERV in 2019. Anita explores a diverse range of sounds including house, hip hop, trap, afrobeats, Brazilian funk, and drum and bass.
Her deep connection with music and dynamic performances have led her to play at Argentina’s most renowned venues and festivals, such as Under Club, Crobar, Groove, Primavera Sound, and Lollapalooza. She has toured Europe, gracing the decks of prominent clubs in Germany and Spain, including Antídoto in Madrid and Mondo & Molotov in Vigo. One of her most notable performances was opening for world-renowned artists Skrillex and Fred Again at Lollapalooza Buenos Aires.
Anita’s rapid career growth and her ability to connect with audiences have made her a standout artist, bringing Argentine fire and eclectic sounds to dance floors around the world.
