Learn Improv Today! (PinkFest Edition)
Improv, short for improvisational theatre, is a story-telling art form that doesn’t rely on scripts of any kind.
It is spontaneous, usually done in a team, and a whole lot of fun!
This year, FP Training is proud to be an Official PinkFest Partner, providing the queer community an introductory workshop to improv.
The workshop will be run by two seasoned improvisers who are also queer women. Most importantly, we are adamant in creating a consent-informed, safe space for the queer community to attend, meet new friends, and have fun.
In this 2-hour long workshop, you will learn and get to practice:
1) The basic principles of improv
2) How to work with others using improv
3) Beginner improv games and exercises

Date: 25 June 2024
Time: 730 – 930pm

Yoga for a Change x Proud Spaces
Join our special PinkFest yoga class at Proud Spaces SG on Saturday, June 1st 10-11am.
Bring your own mat, towel and water bottle; and be ready to move and breathe, in support of PinkFest!
All the proceeds from the class will be donated back to Proud Spaces to keep the space operational for the community and programmes catered to help LGBTQ+ community groups.
The class is open to all levels, including beginners. We aim to make the practice of yoga accessible to everybody.
About your facilitator Yun:
Yun believes that when you give, you receive. As a full-time teacher for more than a decade, and currently with HOM Yoga, all kinds of movement practices inspire her. Her teachings are mostly alignment-focused and heart-based, with a touch of mantra music. Most recently, she has become a mama and found deeper service in holding space for crystal bowl sound baths and alignment-based hatha flow classes. Yun’s curiosity and hunger for knowledge keeps her on the mat and fuels her desire to learn and evolve every single day.
About Yoga for a Change:
Yoga for a Change is created for people to practice yoga, move and relax – while contributing to worthy causes that enhance livelihoods in Singapore. We teach weekly outdoors yoga classes at Marina Bay, Botanic Gardens, Fort Canning Park, East Coast Park, and ad-hoc events such as gong relaxation, meditation sessions and day retreats from which all proceeds are donated to nonprofits.
