After 39 years together, Ben (John Lithgow) and George (Alfred Molina) get married. When their vows are exchanged, the joy is palpable. But the merrymaking comes to an abrupt halt when the Archdiocese demands that George is fired from his job as choir director at a Catholic school. Forced to sell their house and couchsurf, LOVE IS STRANGE is a bittersweet and endearing tribute to the beauty of commitment in the face of adversity.
