The Other Book Club: Social Event

Join us, as we come together to have fun and engage in conversations with other like-minded people! Light refreshments will be provided, but we encourage members to bring their own dinner and bond with others over food!

We are also hosting a little ‘Show and Tell’ session, where members can bring their favourite book (queer or otherwise) for 2024 and share it with others!

We are also pleased to announce that we will be giving away a copy of Daryl Qilin Yam’s “Be Your Own Bae,” courtesy of Epigram.

The Other Book Club is a LGBTQ-run book club that hopes to create a safe haven for all to gather and discuss freely without qualms.

Please note that this session is free. We highly recommend that you register only if you are able to confirm your attendance.

Pangina Heals (Host, Drag Race Thailand) and Nicky Doll (Host, Drag Race France), join the cast of RIOT! for 1 night only in a drag show to celebrate Christmas!

The night has 3 parts:
6pm sharp (doors open a 5.45pm and close at 6.30) – Meet and Greet
An exclusive opportunity to meet and have your photos taken with Pangina Heals and Nicky Doll. Session ends at 6.45pm
8pm (doors open at 7.30) – Panicky at the RIOT!
It’s a drag show! Oww!
10pm – Panicky at the Yum Yum X’Mas Disco Ball
Disco! Dance! Party!

Pangina Heals, host of Drag Race Thailand, currently streaming Season 3, is also THE breakout star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World.
Nicky Doll, host of Drag Race France, was last seen by the (straight) world at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Yes! In THAT segment.
They are joined Singaporean favourites
Kak Nina Boo – She is a veteran, a pioneer and a legend. Does that mean she’s old? Let’s just say she was one of the 3 wise men.
Sapphire Blast – Just like Mary, Sapphire is a mother (of the House of Kasicunt) who is (functionally) a virgin. You should see what she can do with a donkey though.

The show is hosted by
Becca D’Bus – She’s big, she’s loud, she’s colourful. Also, filthy. Very filthy.

RIOT! is Singapore’s only regular drag revue. Hosted by Becca D’Bus, Singapore’s biggest drag queen and featuring a cast of the most incredible drag talent in the country. And beyond!

Seating categories for Panicky at the RIOT! are:

OBSESSIVE ($105) – Assigned seats at the 2 front rows of tables at the show, access to the 6pm Meet and Greet session.
Section includes tables for 4 to 7.

BEST ($85) – Assigned seats at 3 front rows of shared tables closest to the stage.
Section includes tables for 4 to 7.

GOOD ($75) – Assigned seats at shared tables on the rear and outer edges of the front section. Close to the action, but out of the splash zone.
Section includes tables that seat 4 to 8

NICE ($75) – The first row of raised seats. Further from the stage, but excellent views.
Section seats are all assigned high chairs along a counter.

ELEVATED ($75) – Mezzanine seats. VERY limited seats on an otherwise empty mezzanine. Sitting with your friends in the VIP vibes.

OKAY ($65) – Assigned seats at banquettes at rear and side of the room. Further from the action.
Section includes tables that seat 4 to 6.

BAR ($55) – High seats at the back of the room for the price sensitive.

Supporting Marginalised & Vulnerable Communities – A workshop for community volunteers & organisers

A workshop for community volunteers & organisers, topics to be covered:

  • Supporting others through challenging times
  • Risk assessment basics
  • Counselling microskills

This workshop aims to equip attendees to support those facing distress by helping them access appropriate care. It is not meant to substitute professional training for formal mental health support.

Faith Dialogues II by TransgenderSG

Faith Dialogues II is an event that shares stories and challenges of Transgender Christians. It also explores what support is needed from the Church. Through the sharing of faith testimonials and non-judgmental dialogue and enquiry, participants come to a refreshed understanding of their faith, or uncover areas of common faith for reconciliation.
