FOMOHOMO’s MUSIC CURATORS

Emma SS
Hailing from Canada, and now based in Singapore Emma tells her stories via a lexicon that’s instinctively comprehensible amongst those who call the dance floor their home. She’s eloquent with her glossary of grooves, spanning the expansive territories of house in both uplifting and tech-centric forms, indie dance with its vivacious synthy flavours, as well as techno that can be spiritually melodic or progressively thumpy. Chuggy basslines, mesmerising hooks and catchy vocals are elements she tends to dip into, creating a diverse palette that never stagnates.
She’s performed at esteemed nightclubs such as Tuff Club and Upstairs, both part of the Thugshop portfolio (which also runs Headquarters). And she was recently featured in online music publication, Life In Arpeggio, where she partook in its 15-Min Flash Mix series.

Shigeki
Japanese-born deejay currently based in Singapore. Shigeki discovered his passion for house music after he migrated from his native Japan to Australia; he started spinning at some of the top bars and clubs on Sydney’s Oxford Street in 2002, and played at big events such as Sydney Mardi Gras Party, Big Queer Nation, Sydney Harbour Party, Toy Box and Tropical Fruits to name but a few.

Bobby obby obby
Multi-hyphenate Bobby Luo (aka DJ Bobby Obby Obby / pingpongpanda ) is known to many as a designer, decorator, nightclub owner, retailer, party organizer and DJ. Formerly a set designer for Zouk Singapore in the 90s. He also co-founded and ran the now-defunct The Butter Factory nightclub. Today, he owns SUPER FREAK boutique, and organises (and occasionally DJs) his own alternative queer pop-up parties across the +65 like Mismatch (house), Yum Yum Disco Dong (disco) and Baby Boy (r&b). In addition, he is also a member of the Vogue In Progress collective, which organises ballroom events
Queens Serving You Looks, Action, Canapés!

JOJO SAM CLAIR
Rowdy. Raunchy. Rabak. JoJo Sam Clair is a quirky queen who lives for the stage, breathes pop culture and sees beauty in the ratchet. JoJo's drag adventure started in March 2022, when they won A Contested Commotion (Lilac Show), a live drag competition for new talents. Since then, this chameleon of a performer has tickled audiences as a Kylie Minogue turtle, an Xtina jellyfish and even your friendly neighbourhood Tiger Beer auntie. When they are not prancing around in heels, JoJo aka Sam Jo also co-hosts The SG Boys, a podcast about LGBTQ life in Singapore.

LYCHEE BYE
Lychee Bye puts the ‘les’ in ‘burlesque’ and the ‘ow!’ in ‘walau’. She’s Singapore’s little red thot!
