Looking to explore Buddhism but unsure where to begin? Especially as an individual of the LGBTQ+ community, finding safe spaces for spiritual exploration may seem daunting. Fear not – and join us for an enlightening evening built on accepting inclusivity and vibrant new perspectives.

A 90-minute pilot program introduces Buddhism to all, featuring 3 seasoned Buddhist practitioners for Q&A. Their bio can be found under the comment. The “ask-me-anything” segment covers various topics, aiming to broaden perspectives and foster an inclusive Buddhist community, including LGBTQ+. The session ends with a 10-minute guided meditation for a calming experience.

Armed with 2 diplomas in Buddhism Studies from the reputed Buddhist Library and HarvardX, along with a specialization in Buddhist Psychology, he brings a rare breadth of understanding. Having an immersive experience in all three schools of Buddhism, his pen runs deep on Dharma, with numerous articles for ‘A Handful of Leaves’. As the editor of the interactive online magazine ‘Kusala’, he unearths forgotten teachings and weaves engaging narratives.

 

Introducing Ming a persona immersed in the tranquility and wisdom of Theravada Buddhism. Ming, formerly a novice monk from Wat Pah Nanachat in the serene surroundings of Northeast Thailand, delved deep into the profound teachings of Buddhism. Influenced by this invaluable philosophy, he possesses a wealth of insight, simplifying intricate lessons of Buddha for all to comprehend

 

Introducing Lee-a resounding voice in the intersectionality of Buddhism and LGBTQ+ matters. With an unquenchable thirst for understanding, Lee is well-versed in Mahayana Chinese Sutras and is a dedicated Buddhist scholar. Through his rigorous research, he’s unraveling the harmonious blending of Buddhist teachings and LGBTQ+ inclusivity.
