

PS Wong Art presents Nature Sketching (2 June 2024- Sunday)
Learn to sketch trees, plants and flowers in Fort Canning Park! This is a beginner-friendly, 2-part workshop held on 1 & 2 June. You can choose to attend one or both sessions. Organised in partnership with Pink Fest in conjunction with pride month. Open to LGBTQIA+ folks and allies. Concession pricing at 30% off is available for students, NSFs, or those who are financially stretched.
Session 1: Sketching Trees
1 June (Sat) | 5-6.30 pm (1.5 h)
You will learn to observe basic shapes and proportions of trees, then focus on capturing the details of branches, bark patterns and leaves.
Session 2: Sketching Plants & Flowers
2 June (Sun) | 4.30-6.30 pm (2 h)
This session will focus on capturing finer details. You can choose from a variety of plants and flowers to draw, focusing on the shapes, patterns and colours. At the end of the workshop, you will create patterns based on the plants and flowers you have drawn.

Terms & conditions:
- If you are unable to attend the workshop, please inform the organiser ASAP to get a refund. You may also transfer your ticket to a friend.
- Class size is between 2-12 participants. If there are insufficient participants, you will be given an alternative date or issued a refund.
- In the event of wet weather, the workshop may be rescheduled, cancelled, or paused until the rain clears (if it is a passing shower).
- In the event of tightened COVID-19 restrictions issued by the government, the workshop will be cancelled.
- This workshop is open to participants aged 13 and above. If you are under 18 (as of event date), the organiser will not be liable for any parent/guardian complaints. It is your responsibility to seek permission and/or make the necessary arrangements to attend the workshop.
- By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to maintain the safety and inclusivity of the space. Harassment, oppressive behaviour, or discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, religion, class, ability, etc will not be tolerated. The organiser reserves the right to reject or remove any participant who exhibits unruly or discriminatory behaviour. No refunds will be given.
